Thomas Scientific Selects Allpower Generator To Install Their Kohler 400kw Diesel Generator

We are very pleased to have earned this project. Thomas Scientific is an interesting company with very solid management and we were able to get the type of feedback we value during the assessment phase. That really helps us identify what their needs are today but also consider what the company will look like in the future so we can factor that in to our system design. Thank you to the staff of Thomas Scientific for answering our many questions. You may not realize it but you played a huge role in determining what the right system design is for the company.

Allpower Generator to Deliver and Assemble 200KW Kohler Diesel Generator For a New Jersey School System

After months of planning and construction the school is finally ready to receive their new generator. In the commercial world this is actually not considered a very large generator, however, shipping a generator even this size is very different that what you may see for a small commercial or residential application. With diesel generators the fuel tank in known as a sub-base fuel tank and the generator sits on top of that fuel tank. That also means when assembled they are too high for transport on the open road. They are shipped in pieces and offloaded with a crane at the job site, the fuel tank is placed on the pad, then the the generator is hoisted with a crane and placed on top of the fuel tank for final assembly. When that is complete a platform is assembled around the generator so the mechanics can access the system for maintenance and service.
