Being a generator company that services thousands of generators (with actual generator mechanics) puts us in a unique position to evaluate all the generators available to consumers and business's. We see them all and represent all the major brands. Here is our criteria for "Best in Class".
1. Reliability
2. Parts Availability
3. Warranty Administration
4. Software Availability
Those 4 criteria impact "cost of ownership" and directly impact what your experience will be over the long haul. All manufacturers present their equipment as magical machines that make no noise and never break. But in the off chance it does break there are thousands of Dealers standing by that can't wait to fix your generator at no cost to you. Of course none of that is true and you should consider adopting our criteria for Best in Class which is not influenced by a marketing dept., brochure, or infomercial. WE base our opinion on what we see in the field and the interaction we have with various manufacturers.
Kohler's line of residential/light commercial generators is superior to all other brands in today's market. Well done. There is no need to follow the trends of other manufacturers and market an inferior product when you make a solid performer like your RCL series generators.

When you see Art Working on Your Generator Keep This in Mind
We wanted to make it a point to recognize and express our appreciation to Art Marino. Art is one of our service technicians. Beyond his skill and experience with generators Art was hired because we believe he has good core values. Art is a young man that is a Veteran of the war in Afghanistan. During the recent riots and violence in Baltimore Art was called up by the National Guard and deployed for over a week. Sad and shameful that was necessary at all. Art once again disrupted his life to keep peace with his wife and infant at home. We should all keep that in mind as we express our "first world problems" on a daily basis. People do things for us that should be appreciated. Not just in politically correct gestures but in practice and in being grateful.
